No Edits.

This time of the year last year, one of my new year's resolution was to keep blogging. To my dismay, 2011's about to bid goodbye and I have ZERO posts. Oh boy do I deserve a pat in the back.

Blogging is not a big deal for me. Writing is. It keeps me da*n sane.

I created a new blog (not this site) in my pathetic attempt to create a new me. I'm not that in love with my old self, so to say. My "past life" was a little too sore with drama.

But tonight, I finally came to my senses and stopped stressing about:
1. Deleting old posts or this entire blog
2. A new blog title
2. A new catchy blog tagline

After gazillion thoughts, I'd say why bother. Why do I need to edit? Besides who I was made me who I am today.

the road of life is not a straight path. humps and obstacles. unforeseen twists and unexpected turns. even we follow a map, we still get lost somewhere along the way. we struggle to find the right direction, only to find that we're searching in vain.

it may seem formidable. as though we're going 'round in circles. as though we'll never find our way again. but keeping our eyes on where we want to go and what we want to achieve will lead us back to the right track.

there'd be U-turns, detours. maybe even a complete change of route. pero ayaw mu non, road trip?!! haha. don't lose sight of your destination. keep driving. you'll get there.

oh come on!!! just when i thought i had everything going on oh soooo well, a sh*t from the past comes uninvited slapping me on the face real hard. reeaal hard!

my plans are... or were, all set. i had my mind focused on that one direction. that one direction! crap. now you're telling me to make a U turn?! i can't do that! hell, i don't wanna do that. but i guess what I want doesn't matter now, huh? i don't have a say, do i?

i am officially and helplessly a slave of my wrong decisions. wrong choices. wrong turns.

so this is why i'm singing shoulda, woulda, coulda in the shower this morning, goodness gracious! i should have settled this long before. so i wouldn't have to be in here, right now, drowning in my own pool of regrets. if only i could undo the damage and do it over again. oh how pathetic that one sounds!

if its any consolation, i would like to commend whoever said this line:
"make peace with your past, so it won't screw your future."
